A Kenyan chipper who convincingly started his season LP Viesti Pamela Owino has been selected as the October player of the month in the Women's Volleyball Championship League.
Owino has scored an average of 27.2 points and leads the points exchange and strength statistics. Owino's attack percentage in five regular season games this season reached 48.
Apart from Owino, no one else from LP Viest qualified for the October all-star team.
LP Viesti will return to action after a break of more than two weeks on Thursday in Salohalli, where they will face Kuopio's Puijo Wolley.
