A solo exhibition of paintings by Petya Stoynova will be presented in the capital's “Face” gallery. The exposition will be presented from today until November 26, the organizers informed.
According to the author, the exhibition presents watercolor works created in the last three years. “Realistic landscapes inspired by Rhodopes and Dobrudja, flowers and the 'Birds' series have become my signature in the last two years. The first “birds” appeared in 2022, and since then the series has exceeded 50 pieces. Over the years I have also worked with oil and acrylic paints, but the ease of the watercolor technique most appeals to me and the satisfaction of the process itself is the most complete. That's why I've only worked with watercolors for ten years. I am moved by nature and I hope that viewers will feel at least some of the joy and humility that I feel when I am with it so far, that I have been able to give space to the landscape and give life to my birds. “, he said.
