Former Republican President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) congratulated Donald Trump after the Republican's virtual victory. With 267 delegates out of the 270 needed, Associated Press (AP) projections designate Trump as the 47th president of the United States.

“Today, we witness the rise of a true warrior. “A man who, even after facing a brutal election process in 2020 and unjustified judicial persecution, rose again, something that few people in history have been able to do,” Bolsonaro said, via social media.
