Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) follows the vote count for the United States presidential election at Donald Trump's luxury resort, where the candidate and his family are staying, in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
The son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) uploaded several photos on his social networks in the early hours of Wednesday (6/11), including with Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr, at the resort.
In a photo at the entrance to Mar-a-Lago, Eduardo Bolsonaro said he felt honored to be at Trump's headquarters.
“It is an honor to be here to follow the count of the most important election in the free world. From America, with our hearts for the Brazilian people suffering under left-wing rule. The United States and Brazil need to be partners in defending freedom,” said Eduardo Bolsonaro.
In a video greeting the guests, the deputy provoked “do you believe in this victory? Come on Trump.”
Apart from the son of the former Brazilian president, other members of parliament are also monitoring the elections in the US. These include Bia Kicis (PL-DF), Rodrigo Valadares (União-SE), Mayra Pinheiro (PL-CE), acting DPR substitute, Gilson Machado (PL-PE), DPR graduate, and senator Carlos Portinho (PL-RJ).
The only member of parliament from a government base who left for the United States was José Airton Cirilo (PT-CE).
