Still short of the 270 delegates needed to be elected president of the United States, Trump leads the vote count with 248 delegates compared to his opponent Kamala Harris who received 214 delegates.
The Associated Press (AP) has projected Trump wins in North Carolina, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Utah, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky , Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tenneessee and West Virginia, for a total of 230 delegates in 24 states.
Kamala Harris won Hawaii, Virginia, New Mexico, Maine, Oregon, California, Washington, Colorado, New York, Illinois, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island and Vermont and has 210 delegates in 17 states, as addition to the District of Columbia (DC), according to the AP.
