Donald Trump has become US president again and there is no longer any way to deny his political influence. But there is another side to his popularity – Trump is now a pop icon, often appearing in films and TV series as himself. Shortly before the election, a film about his early career was released, directed by Ali Abbasi, with Sebastian Stan playing Trump. In the current climate of Hollywood, dominated by the left, he is clearly treated as a despicable villain:
