Flamengo launched a campaign aimed at promoting anti-racist action

Flamengo presents the campaign “More than culture, identity!”, which includes the club's anti-racist actions, promoted by the departments of Social Responsibility, Historical Heritage, Communications and Marketing.

After convening an anti-racist working group addressed to association employees and led by Public Policy Human Rights masters, in 2023, a booklet was produced that seeks to provide education about the types of racism and how we can combat it in everyday life. life. .

These materials will be distributed by the Flamengo Educational Museum team to site visitors. The action will also feature educational posts on the club's social networks, which have more than 60 million followers.

Apart from that, a themed collection was also developed, including various items such as t-shirts, hats, sandals and ecobags.

The highlight of the collection is the “Identidade” t-shirt, developed in collaboration with flamenco samba singer Jorge Aragão, composer of the song of the same name that is the theme of the campaign.
