In the Vidin area there are no dams that can be used for drinking and household needs. Water for this purpose is provided by about 85% underground water sources and 15% surface water sources, explained Eng. Ilko Iliev.

According to the bulletin of the Ministry of Environment and Water on the state of water in complex and significant dams, one of the large water basins used for irrigation needs – Lake Rabisha, has a usable volume of 23%.
