Minister of Innovation and Growth, Rosen Karadimov, will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Danube Industrial Technology Park in Svishtovi today at 10:00, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIR) announced.
The construction of the park was financed by MIR with almost BGN 27 million based on the industrial area and park development procedures of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan (NRSP). According to him, the ministry supports 11 industrial areas in 10 cities with BGN 206 million.
After the ceremony, Acting Minister Karadimov will hold a working meeting with representatives of the regional government and the Danube Svishtov Industrial Technology Park.
BTA reminded that the development of a network of industrial areas and areas in the country is an important element in efforts to re-industrialize the Bulgarian economy. According to MIR estimates, this can be achieved through at least 35 industrial parks. Industrial parks are also seen as a tool to overcome regional differences in Bulgaria.
