On July 1, 2012, at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Spain defeated Italy in the final of the European Championship hosted by Poland and Ukraine. The match was officiated by Portugal's Pedro Proença, and with the final whistle, the tournament was history. But only from the sporting side, not from the legal side. Now, after more than 12 years, Donald Tusk's government wants to officially end it.
Although time has passed, subsequent sports ministers presented reports on the implementation of projects related to Euro 2012. Tusk's cabinet is working on changes that will no longer require this.
In connection with Euro 2012, our country implemented 136 projects
The need to submit annual reports to the Sejm and the government is a result of the Euro 2012 preparatory law, which was passed at the end of the first PiS government in 2007. It is envisaged that the Council of Ministers will establish, in the form of regulations, a list of Euro 2012 related projects, and the first government of Donald Tusk actually did it in 2009.
