South Korea has not ruled out sending arms directly to Ukraine, President Yoon Suk-yeol said today, which could signal a shift in Seoul's policy in this area following reports of North Korean soldiers being trained to fight Ukrainian forces in their war with Russia. French Press reported.
“Now, depending on the level of North Korean involvement, we will adjust our support strategy gradually over several stages. “This means that we do not rule out the possibility of supplying weapons,” said the head of state at a press conference in Seoul.
Meanwhile, Russian drones attacked residential areas on the outskirts of Kyiv. An apartment was damaged and a garage caught fire, but no one was injured. According to the Mayor of Kyiv, a falling drone part was the cause of the fire.
An air alert announced in Kiev and most of central and southern Ukraine remained active for more than an hour.
