The actress revealed screams of pain after being diagnosed with an incurable disease

Actress Christina Applegate, 52, has revealed something new about how she changed her routine after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Known for her role as Rachel's sister on Friends and Disque Amiga Para Matar, where she played Jan, the actress was diagnosed in 2021. Since then, she shared the major changes in her routine.

“I would lie in bed screaming – like, the sharp pain, the ache, the tightness. Sometimes, I can't even pick up my phone because now it's in my hand, so I'm, like, trying to grab the phone or the remote to turn on the TV or sometimes, I can't even hold it. I can't open the bottle now,” he said on his MeSsy podcast.

Multiple sclerosis is a neurological, chronic and autoimmune disease and causes changes in the patient's immune system so that the body's defense cells involuntarily “attack” the central nervous system, causing brain and spinal cord injury.

There is no cure for this disease and treatment in this case aims to slow the progression of symptoms.
