The exhibition “Archaeological Heritage of Croatia” opened tonight at the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at BAS (NAIM at BAS).
“I want to tell about the rich cultural traditions of Croatia, a place that has a long history. “In this region, many historical artifacts and cultural riches have been preserved, which we would like to introduce to you,” said Prof. Popov.
As BTA writes, the exhibition contains thirty large format posters, showing Croatia's most outstanding archaeological sites and monuments underwater, at sea and on land. The exhibition is part of the Croatian Archaeological Heritage Days program and includes four lectures by archaeologists Dr. Marko Dizdar from the Archaeological Museum – Zagreb, Dr. Tomislav Bilić from the Archaeological Museum – Zagreb, Dr. Tino Leleković from the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and Dr. Sanin Mihelic, Director of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb between 2016-2023 and currently Director of the Arts and Crafts Museum in Zagreb.
