Theater objects. In 2012 Étienne Manceau (Cie Sacékripa) created “Vu”, a character we will never forget, a kind of hermit trapped in his madness who decides to make himself some tea. It would take almost an hour until, through micro-movements and minimalist tinkering, he managed to gather all the necessary materials for this absolutely crazy ceremony. This small form of juggling with strange objects was not yet widespread at that time and “Vu” became a reference for the genre, and was performed more than 700 times around the world.
Ten years later, he created this “Vue” whose subtle differences lie in the letter and the lead role, this time played by Amélie Venisse. A woman against a man? So what? Many things: although the principles remain the same, the characters' obsessions take on a different color. Even though the essential remains: the skill of body movements used for imagination in the practice of juggling which makes us forget that it is juggling.
