Wall Street opened today's trading session at a record high following Republican Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election yesterday and awaiting the Federal Reserve Board's decision on interest rates, Reuters reported.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average still fell 11 points or 0.03 percent to 43,718.92.
The S&P 500 added 18.2 points, or 0.31 percent, to 5,947.21.
The Nasdaq technology index rose 101 points, or 0.53 percent, to 19,084.42.
