With more than 95% of the vote counted in Nevada, Trump is closing in on 301 electoral votes
The Republican candidate, Donald Trump, emerged as the winner of the vote in the State of Nevada. With more than 95% of the vote counted, Trump has won 716,978 endorsements, 51% of the state, compared with the 688,791.47% his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, received, according to AP data compiled by New York Times. With a win in Nevada, Trump would retain the state's 6 electoral votes and thus add 301 electoral votes.
Apart from Nevada, the election results are still undetermined in Arizona, another state considered crucial in the election, where, however, the balance is tilting towards the Republican Party. There, with 76% of the vote counted, Trump had 52% support (1,385,868), while Harris had 47% (1,230,651).
If he wins both, Trump will cruise to victory in seven states considered crucial in the election: Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona.
