A Qantas Australia flight bound for Brisbane in Australia made an emergency landing at the airport in the metropolitan city of Sydney after passengers heard a roar from one of its engines, Reuters reported.
The plane turned back around and landed safely at Sydney Airport, an airport spokesman said.
Grass caught fire next to the runway where the plane landed, but it was unclear whether the blaze was caused by possible ignition of the plane's engine.
