BNP Paribas Bank Polska group profit in the third quarter of 2024 amounted to PLN 635.5 million, the bank announced in its report on Friday. That's 43 percent. more than a year earlier and slightly higher than market expectations. In the Parkiet survey, analysts estimated an average profit of PLN 606 million.
How much does BNP Paribas earn?
BNP Paribas BP authorities emphasized that in the third quarter they managed to record higher levels in all the most important revenue categories. These gains were supported by reduced costs, normalization of credit risk costs, as well as a moderate increase in the legal risk impact of the CHF portfolio.
Interest income in the third quarter of PLN 1.58 billion turned out to be slightly higher than market expectations. That's also 16 percent. more than a year earlier and by 30 percent. more than a quarter previously, including to fix this year's holiday credit costs. Interest margin also increased slightly.
Net commission income amounted to PLN 311 million and was also more or less in line with market expectations. That's 9 percent. more every year and amounted to 8%. more every quarter.
