Britain's Cameron Norrie and France's Benjamin Bonzi will play in the final of the Metz ATP 250 tennis tournament.
Nori defeated another host representative – Corenten Mute, in the semifinals with 6:2, 7:6 (5) in a match that lasted about an hour and a half. The British tennis player started the match by breaking Mute's serve and managed to break again in the first set at 5:2, before finishing his own serve.
The second set also started with a Nori break and then 2:0, but Mute not only broke back but also made another break to take a 4:2 lead. Cameron Norrie managed to equalize to score the match on a tiebreaker which he won with 7:5.
The other semi-final was longer and more competitive, with Bonzi defeating Alex Mickelsen of the US 4:6, 6:0, 7:5 in two hours on court. Mickelsen won the first part thanks to a break, but in the second Bonzi did not even give the game to his opponent. The two played game after game in a decisive third set, with Bonzi missing four match points but breaking serve in the fifth to close out the match at 7-5.
