Changes in Polish Mining Group. Bartosz Kępa becomes acting president of PGG

On Friday, November 8, the supervisory board of Polska Grupa Górnicza entrusted the duties of president of the management board to Bartosz Kępa, current vice president for finance, the company announced in a press release. Kępa will hold this position until a new president is appointed, who will be elected in a competition.

The changes at the top of the Polish mining giant are dictated by the new role of the previous PGG chairman, Leszek Pietraszek, who was elected deputy commander of the Silesian Province on Monday, November 4.

Leszek Pietraszek has served as president of PGG since March 2024. He then replaced Bartłomiej S., who resigned from his post due to his arrest and trial on corruption charges.
