Framework agreements are often found in business transactions – they are a type of agreement that defines the general principles of cooperation between contractors – parties to the contract. The definition of a framework agreement can be found in the Government Procurement of Goods/Services Law. However, this contract has not been defined in civil law. Therefore, this is a type of innominate contract, based on which the contractor can independently determine the scope, subject and duration of the implementation of a particular contract. Therefore, framework agreements are often characterized as cooperation agreements, since their purpose is to complete more than one order, but on similar or even the same terms.
