How terrible. The hardest year of my life

The Prince of Wales is in South Africa to attend the Earthshot Awards ceremony. William told South African journalists how he coped after his wife and father were diagnosed with the disease cancer.

“It was terrible. It was probably the hardest year of my life. So trying to get through everything and keep everything on track was really tough. I'm very proud of my wife, I'm proud of my dad. But personally, it was brutal,” William said, according to the BBC .

Buckingham Palace revealed in February that King Charles III had cancer. Just six weeks later, it was announced that the Princess of Wales was also undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer.

Afterwards, the King returned to public duties and Catherine completed her chemotherapy treatment.
