I read this book basically in one breath (not a long one), while laughing out loud from time to time, probably at moments carefully planned by the author. Since this was in a compartmentless carriage of a fairly busy train with a relatively long route, I had nowhere to escape to while giggling.
The problem, of course, is that in such circumstances people sit close together without knowing anything about each other. I used the book on an e-book reader, so there's no cover to infer anything. It was an interesting psychosocial situation, and it would have been even more interesting if my fellow passengers had realized that I was not reading a satirical novel, but a popular science text on chemistry.
