The Natura drugstore chain has been operating for 25 years and currently has more than 230 branches. Pelion became its owner in 2014, when it bought shares from Alior and Erste banks, which managed it after the company went bankrupt.
Previously it was run by the company Polbita, and in 1996 IWP Ireland became the owner. The company was later delisted and largely controlled by an American investment fund led by SVP.
Later, the company had problems, but Pelion also had problems after the takeover. At the end of 2022, the Natura drugstore chain had 254 outlets, but the company management decided to revise its portfolio. A plan for the liquidation of unprofitable stores has been adopted, the first stage is being implemented in 2022-2023.
