Father Marcin (name changed) as a 12-year-old child was sexually abused several times in the mid-1990s by Father Stanisław, the parish priest in his home parish in Podkarpacie. The crimes occurred during confession, around the church, and in the priest's apartment. Over the years, Rev. Marcin did not realize that he had become a victim of abuse. However, the trauma returned years later. In 2013, he told the Archbishop of Przemyśl, Józef Michalik, about the injustice he had experienced. He then submitted a written report.
