During the All Saints' Day fair in the market square in Soest, Westphalia, a car driver drove through the area – for reasons as yet unknown. One person was slightly injured in the crash, police said. Based on these findings, passers-by failed to stop the vehicle in the square. The accident clearly occurred as a result of this. The driver fled, but was arrested a short time later by police officers not far from the crash site, he said. The car was confiscated.
