The control meeting of the men's national handball team with GRK Tikvesh Macedonia will not take place, senior coach of the men's national handball team Iliyan Vassilev in Gabrovo announced to BTA.

“At the last moment, they called me that the team from Macedonia couldn't come for various reasons, I don't understand exactly why. I'm very sorry because everything was very well organized. We will exercise control, we will create a collective team that we will fight against. I couldn't go through with this because it happened at the last minute, everything was ready from my side. If they had given earlier warning, we would have taken the second option.”

According to him, training in Gabrovo went very well and he was satisfied. The only thing he said was not good was the failure of two control matches with GRK Tikvesh. According to Iliyan Vasilev, “Tricolors” have given themselves in this preparation and already have an idea of ​​\u200b\u200bqualifying in January.

Vasilev added that he was confident in the success of the Men's National Handball Team in the upcoming qualifiers.

Two sessions under the chairmanship of selector Iliyan Vasilev and his assistant Svetlin Dimitrov were held in the “Orlovets” hall. At the end of the week, two control meetings with GRK Tikves Macedonia are planned.
