The presentation will begin with the work “Two Africans”, created by Dutch Anonymous after the double portrait created by Rembrandt van Rijn in the second half of the 17th century and will take place in the Flemish-Dutch painting room (Rembrandt room), where the work is put forward will be on display starting Wednesday, November 6, 2024 until February 2025.

This work will also tell its story on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 and Wednesday, February 5, 2025, when this series of conferences will continue, also from 4 p.m., on days with free access to National Art Museum of Romania.

Through this series of presentations, we invite the public to have a direct dialogue with little or completely unknown works from the European Art Section warehouse. Over the course of four months, a painting or sculpture will be exhibited at the European Art Gallery in order to utilize it from the perspective of various themes, intended to show it in different light.
