The Legislative Assembly of Bahia unanimously approved, this Tuesday (5), the award of the Second of July Award to judge Raimundo Sérgio Cafezeiro. Honor, proposed by deputy Roberto Carlos (PV), receive favorable opinions from government leaders, deputies Rosemberg Pinto (PT), during the plenary session.
Roberto Carlos highlighted Trajectory Cafezeiro, born in Jequié, graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Salvador in 1960 e PhD student at the Catholic University of Santa Fé, in Argentina. Right now, judge presides over the 5th Civil Chamber of the Court of Bahia (TJ-BA), recognized for his work dedicated to advocacy and defense of human rights.
“Judge Cafezeiro's life was marked by work, study and dedication, honoring his robe with a commitment that combined law and justice in an exemplary way”, stressed deputy Roberto Carlos, highlighting the judge's contributions to the Bahia Court and his prominent activism in support of the democratic rule of law.
