“ISU Giurgiu was requested in the town of Găiseni after local residents announced that a dog had fallen into a disused well. No one knows how the dog got to the place, but it was fortunate to be heard by local residents who tried to help. When they realized they couldn't get it out without going down the well, they called the single emergency number 112', according to a press release issued Wednesday by ISU Giurgiu.
If necessary, they move FIREand from the Bolintin Accord Detachment, with special vehicles equipped with special rescue accessories.
With the help of a ladder, one of the firefighters went down into the well and found the dog at a depth of about 5-6 meters, limp but scared.
When it seemed safe, the dog ran away, most likely looking for its owner.
