“No reason to worry” For Mexico, it is a message from President Claudia Sheinbaum on Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.
Sheinbaum did not congratulate Trump So, he explained, he would wait for several states in the US to finish counting their votes to provide the Government's position through a statement.
“For all Mexicans, there is no reason to worry; for our citizens and women; For Mexican businessmen and women, there is no reason to worry. Mexico has always been superior and there will be good relations”, he commented.
Sheinbaum highlighted that trade strength between the United States and Mexico will continue in the new four-year term Donald Trumpwhich will officially start in January 2025.
“And on other issues that are important to Mexico and the United States, we will maintain this high-level dialogue,” the Mexican president added on flow of migrants to the American Union.
