Don Junior is Trump's eldest child from his first wife, Ivana. He started his career at his father's company, the Trump Organization, and has always worked there. During his first term as president, Trump appointed his son Donald Jr. and Eric as director of the trust containing all of the Trump Organization's assets. Contrary to their promises, the brothers continued to do business with foreign governments.
Since his first campaign in 2016, Donald Jr. also supported his father's political ambitions. He was present at the infamous meeting with a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower. The lawyer is said to have shared incriminating information from the Russian government about Hillary Clinton.
Donald Jr also played a central role in Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. He threatened Republican members of Congress who would not cooperate, and advocated “all-out war”. Don Junior is a friend of Trump's partner, JD Vance.
