AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU Review

AMD's high-performance CPU journey continues on desktop platforms with the arrival of the Zen 5 core architecture. This new architecture has several fundamental changes that enable major performance improvements in both single-core and multi-core applications. This can be attributed to the 16 percent IPC increase offered by the new architecture.

Replacing the AMD Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” CPU, the Ryzen 9000 “Zen 5” CPU does not change the core configuration but improves it in certain ways. Architectural improvements allow the Zen 5 chip to run cooler, consume less power, and support the latest features on existing and future AM5 motherboards.
