Germany's Green Party remains in the ruling coalition, the economy minister said

The Green Party remains part of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's governing coalition despite the departure of liberals from the Free Democratic Party, Green Economy Minister Robert Habeck told reporters, quoted by Reuters.

“Germany must decide on a new governing coalition,” Habeck said. “Until then, we will continue to fulfill our obligations. We are firmly committed to continuing to fully fulfill our obligations and providing the stability in government that Germany can and must provide for Europe.”
