In Lebanon, at least 40 people were killed on Wednesday in Israeli attacks in the east of the country, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
According to the ministry, more than 50 people were also injured in Israeli attacks on the Bekaa Valley and the city of Baalbek. The number of victims may still increase, because according to the ministry, rescue teams are still searching for survivors in the rubble.
The Israeli armed forces have not issued an evacuation warning in the area.
Israel has carried out attacks, for example, in southern Lebanon, the capital Beirut, and the Bekaa Valley in the east since late September.
