Father Fabio Marsaro de Paula was dismissed from his religious duties by the Diocese of Catanduva (SP) after intimate photos of him were leaked.
The priest appeared in intimate photos with another man, in a selfie showing his genitals, and in a photo holding a beer. The parish priest works in the Parish of Imaculada Conceição, in Palmares Paulista (SP).
The Diocese of Catanduva announced the dismissal of Father Fabio Marsaro de Paula in an official statement. In his official note, Bishop José Benedito Cardoso asked for prayers from the priest, but did not state the reason for his dismissal.
When contacted, the agency admitted that it was aware of the intimate photo leak. The statement was signed last Friday (1).
Following the fallout from the case, the pastor's social media profile was deleted. He even has a YouTube page with almost 6,500 subscribers. In it, two weeks ago he posted a video to celebrate his 52nd birthday.
