A house caught fire this Wednesday (19) afternoon, in Florianópolis. Smoke filled the sky in the Capoeiras area, on the mainland of the capital.

The Florianópolis Military Fire Department confirmed the incident, but as of the publication of this article, they had not provided details regarding possible casualties and the extent of damage.

Firefighters received the call at around 7:20 p.m. At 20.00, the fire was under control, but the team was trying to prevent the fire from flaring up again.

In the afternoon, another fire broke out in Florianópolis, in Morro da Mariquinha, central region. The fire is also under control, but information about the damage and possible casualties has not been released.
