Arsenal's mixed results continued with a 1-0 Champions League defeat away to Inter Milan, but manager Mikel Arteta had no complaints about his side's performance, which dominated against one of Europe's best squads.
Arsenal, who have won just two of their last six games, had more possession and had 21 attempts on goal compared to Inter's seven at San Siro, where the hosts won with a penalty late in the first half.
“The worst thing tonight was the result, because the performance, the attitude, the dominance we showed against one of Europe's best teams in this stadium, I haven't seen that in any of the other games I've watched,” said Arteta.
Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League and travel to face fourth-placed Chelsea on Sunday.
“If we play like we played tonight, we will have a big chance to win against Chelsea. That is the way we have to go,” added the manager.
The Spaniard also provided the latest news regarding Kai Havertz's injury after the striker left the field with a head wound due to a collision with an opponent.
“As for Kye… he had a big wound. He had to be pulled out because he needed stitches, but hopefully he will be fine at the weekend,” said Arteta.
