Two men suspected of being members of the Bonde do Maluco (BDM) faction in Salvador were killed in a shootout with military and civilian police.
The men known as “Suave” and “Macumba”, apart from being part of the faction, were also suspected of murder. They were taken to Roberto Santos hospital, but did not survive their injuries.

The operation involved the participation of teams from the 23rd Independent Military Police Company (CIPM), Rondesp Central and Operation Hórus. Police confiscated firearms and drugs.
The incident has been registered with the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP).
