“This media strategy appears to be intended to cover the opportunistic alliance they themselves have forged with AUR, particularly at the local level. The case in Satu Mare, where AUR and PNL collaborated openly, is well known,” Stănescu said on Facebook.
According to him, almost a week has passed since PNL Mayor Slatina openly approached the AUR party by offering them the position of deputy mayor and access to administrative leadership.
“We are waiting to see the extent of the hypocrisy of the PNL leadership, because so far we have not seen any rejection of this proposal. I ask the liberal leaders to tell us what the political position is regarding PNL's cooperation with AUR at the local level, and specifically at the Slatina City Hall level. Instead of focusing on real solutions for society, the PNL seems more interested in lying and making ridiculous accusations to justify their tenuous alliance. Romania needs political coherence and stability, not political games designed to cause confusion,” said Stănescu.
