In November, more seats on planes from Poland to Spain

Last year in November, airlines had 7.8 million seats scheduled on planes flying to Spain from various countries. This number includes an increase of 10.6 percent, according to Turespaña's analysis. The organization took a closer look at the 20 most important source markets, where 83.3 percent of foreign tourists come from, wrote Spanish travel industry portal Hosteltur.

Except for France (minus 2.4 percent), almost all markets recorded growth – the UK at 8.6 percent, Germany at 12.3 percent, Italy at 20 percent, the Netherlands at 9.2 percent.

Also noteworthy are countries such as Denmark (plus 21.7 percent), Turkey (plus 19.9 percent), Norway (plus 19.3 percent) and Finland (plus 18.6 percent), followed by the Czech Republic ( plus 16 percent). Switzerland (plus 13.3 percent), Belgium (plus 11.2 percent) and Austria (plus 10.6 percent).

The number of seats on planes from Poland is increasing

The airline had planned 198,800 seats on planes from Poland, which would mean an increase of 8.6 percent and a market share of 2.3 percent. By comparison, the largest source market, the UK, has a share of 19.4 percent. However, Poland is at the same level as Ireland (2.4 percent) and the United States (2.3 percent).
