The Final Fantasy VII PlayStation 5 Pro patch uses several of the console's features to bring the best version of the game to the launch of the PC version.
Starting today, owners of upgraded PS5 models will be able to enjoy the second entry in the remake project with various improvements introduced by patch 1050. The patch introduces Flexibility Modewhich targets 60 FPS like Performance Mode but offers a high resolution equivalent to Graphic Mode thanks to the PlayStation's Super Spectral Resolution improvements. Additionally, this update uses the PlayStation 5 Pro's High CPU Frequency Mode to offer a more stable framerate throughout the game.

PlayStation 5 Pro launched worldwide today. With upgraded specs and the aforementioned PlayStation Super Spectral Resolution, the system introduces improvements to over 50 titles that have received their PS5 Pro patches. Even games that haven't received a dedicated patch can see improvements, as some games have shown initial test done earlier this week.
