David Moyes, former manager of English clubs West Ham, Everton and Manchester United, is considering a return to football, writes Sky Sports. The 61-year-old coach left the Hammers at the end of last season and was replaced by Julen Lopetegui before taking a short break.
“There's nothing concrete at the moment, but I'm starting to think about coming back,” he said on the Stick to Football podcast as quoted by Sky Sports.
“The last three months have been an extraordinary period for me because I wanted to take a short break. Last year I led my team in 60 games and that may not sound like a big number, but imagine coming back on Thursday from Belgium or France and having to meet you preparing team for the match at the weekend. The work does not stop,” said Moyes.
“You have to go through analysis of previous matches, preparation for the Premier League and so on. The work is very hard and I haven't had a break in the last three years, but I certainly enjoy it.”
