Government present Excess tax deduction. The tax income limit will be increased from EUR 14,000 to EUR 15,150.
By increasing the income limit, the number of people paying taxes will decrease by around 90,000. This reduction would increase the disposable income of these people by an average of 14 euros per year. In addition, the maximum tax amount will be reduced from 163 euros to 160 euros.
The proposal is expected to reduce Yle's tax revenues by around 25 million euros next year.
