What is the relationship between “The Sunlights of the Tropics” and “A Happy Man”, “The Crocodiles” and “Fly Me to the Moon” by Sinatra? Julien Dore. With an incredible mastery of pop music and variety, he always plays with boxes to make them stand out more in the game. Seventeen years after bursting onto the scene with unique and catchy covers, he's back at it again moving from Mylène Farmer (stunning “Provu qu' ' elles sont éclairs”) to Eddy Mitchell (beautiful “Mint color in water”) but also from Philippe Risoli (always disappointing “Cuitas les bananas” even in piano sound) to “Femme Like U” by K.Maro. Her warm voice wisely sings Adjani's “Marine Sweater”, Axelle Red's “Sensuality”, inviting Cabrel, Sharon Stone or Ségara. If we are all made up of songs that benefit the heart and body, navigating the chasm that separates them in this short session is confusing to say the least.
