Huge differences in income of business association presidents

There is a big difference in the income of the presidents of the Salo entrepreneurial association.

Chief Salon Entrepreneur and Real Estate Agent Jukka Alanko received income of more than 205,000 euros last year, of which he paid taxes of 64,000 euros.

Chief entrepreneur in the Salo area Stina Siikonen taxable income was just over 16,000 euros last year. He paid taxes of 1,300 euros.

Siikonen is a member of the Salo city council and deputy chairman of the Varsinais-Suomen business enterprise. He was also recently elected as deputy chairman of Suomen Yrittäjie.

Stina Siikonen, entrepreneur of Koolle Oy, explains that she has become familiar with the “reality of entrepreneurship” in recent years.

– A company in the events industry in the middle of a corona year is a natural explanation for this. Corona has had a major impact on its operations, and that impact has gotten worse in recent years.

Siikonen said that he also made major changes to his business operations post-coronavirus. He has completely given up on the events industry and is now focusing on conceptualization and marketing.

– I am also focused on making future growth more profitable.
