They were not injured after the van they were traveling in caught fire

A truck suffered a total loss this Thursday afternoon, which after suffering a mechanical failure caught fire, the crew managed to escape in time, but were not injured.

It was on the Saltillo – Monclova highway, where a Hyundai Santa Fe truck was traveling with three people inside, which was leaving the neighboring city of Monterrey towards Piedras Negras.

Arriving at kilometer 60, it was possible that a short circuit occurred which caused the truck to start burning, so the crew immediately got out of the truck.

After reporting to the State Emergency System 911, elements of the Ramos Arizpe Fire Department and Civil Protection arrived at the scene.

They immediately started trying to extinguish the fire, only to find out that the fire had already invaded the truck.

After several minutes of work, and at the end of the cooling work, the fire was extinguished, but the truck was completely lost.

Those affected remained at the scene waiting for insurance company personnel to process the incident.
