A total of four carts have been returned to the Plovdiv municipal area since the start of this week, the deputy mayor for public order and security said.

Since the beginning of this week, a total of four carts have been returned to the territory of the Plovdiv municipality as part of a large-scale action carried out by employees of the “City Police” sector and the municipal company “Parking and Repatriation”. This was announced by Deputy Mayor for Public Order and Security Angel Slavov. Violators of the ban on the movement of animal-drawn vehicles were arrested on the main roads and highways of the city.

Drivers driving carts set up on Blvd. “Maritsa”, st. “Vasil Levski”, str. “Forward” and st. Lando. They were stopped, action was taken, and the carts were returned to the prison parking lot on Blvd. “Naicho Tsanov”.
The sanctions imposed for detected violations range from BGN 100 to BGN 500.

According to data from the Plovdiv city government, no information has been received since the beginning of the year about other similar violations.
