Thermometers in six towns in Bahia recorded temperatures above 35ºC this Thursday (7). Formosa do Rio Pretonot the Far West, topped the list with 37.1ºC e entered the ranking of the 20 hottest in the country in the last 24 hours. The data comes from the National Meteorological Agency (Inmet).
Immediately behind, appeared Correntina (37ºC)also in the Far West, Ibotirama (36.6ºC) e Bars (36.2ºC)both in the São-Franciscano Valley, Resistance (35.7ºC)in the Far West, and Euclides da Cunha (35.5ºC)in Northeast Bahia. These cities are among the 70 hottest cities in Brazil.
Salvador recorded a temperature of 31.5ºC and was outside the top 200 temperatures. The capital city of Bahia reached a temperature of 34.3°C on the 29th, even before summer arrives. For this week, the forecast temperatures are 23ºC (minimum) and 32ºC (maximum).
