Why would a cultural semiotician need to be the director of the Museum of Polish History? Is this a dream come true?
This question can be reversed: why does the Museum of Polish History need a cultural semiotician? Can I be of use here? Remains to be seen. Does anyone need to repeat it, who also said it in a previous conversation with you (“It's not savages who need myths, only us”, “Plus Minus”, 20-21 July 2024), how important depolarization is, dialogue? Suddenly, despite my intentions, I became an icon of political polarization. That's not my dream, just like I don't dream of managing a cultural institution. I was asked if I was ready to take responsibility for this reality.
